Suno Studio 2.0 Guide: Arrange, Edit, and Export a Song

Get oriented in Suno Studio 2.0, build an editable timeline, use stems and effects, and export a song or multitrack for your next production step.

Suno Studio 2.0 combines song arrangement, audio generation, effects, MIDI, and export tools in a browser-based workspace. The feature set and subscription access can change. This guide focuses on a practical first pass: open a project, make a controlled edit, and preserve an export you can compare.

Open a project and learn the timeline

Open a song from your Library in Studio using its Edit or More Actions menu. The timeline is where you arrange clips and compare alternate takes. Play the full project once before editing, then note which section needs work so you can keep the change focused.

Suno’s Studio 2.0 help page says Studio 2.0 is available to Premier subscribers and recommends a desktop browser; mobile devices are not supported. Its navigation differs from earlier Studio versions, so use the current interface labels and help articles if a control has moved.

Edit sections, effects, and stems in small steps

Use the timeline to move or trim clips, add sections, and audition alternate generations. Studio 2.0 includes built-in effects and automation; Suno says it does not host conventional VST or Audio Units plugins. Make one change at a time and compare the full arrangement so a local improvement does not create a level or timing problem elsewhere.

For a mixed clip, open the stem separation controls and choose the split mode that matches your task. Stems can help you rebalance a part, but they are derived from the mix and may include artifacts. Keep the original track available and check timing before muting or replacing it.

Export the right version for your workflow

Use the export menu for the full song, a selected time range, or a multitrack export. Studio’s current help page describes high-quality WAV exports and individual clip downloads. If you are moving the project to another DAW, keep stems aligned and include the full mix as a reference.

Before sharing or publishing, listen to the exported file from beginning to end and confirm that it matches the version you approved in Studio. Save the project link, export date, and any permissions or source files used. Recheck your plan’s rights and export options for the intended use.
